When Andreas Bjune Kjølseth from Asker, Norway, quit his job to start his own company, Infraspace, he could hardly imagine where the journey would take him. Now, the Asker-based company has been showcased on the main stage at Autodesk University in Nashville – the world's largest conference for the construction and infrastructure industries.

"It was an incredible feeling to sit in a hall with thousands of engineers from all over the world and see the product we've developed highlighted as an example of where the industry is heading."

A Norwegian AI Success Story

Infraspace develops digital tools that use artificial intelligence to plan new roads, railways, and other major infrastructure projects. The platform can analyze thousands of route alternatives in just minutes, helping engineers identify the most environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions.

"We can calculate which routes are the most sustainable, affordable, and efficient using map data, algorithms, and AI."

— Andreas Bjune Kjølseth, CEO and Founder of Infraspace

Today, the team consists of six people, and the company is gaining traction among major industry players such as Norconsult, Asplan Viak, and Multiconsult.
