When Andreas Bjune Kjølseth from Asker, Norway, quit his job to start his own company, Infraspace, he could hardly imagine where the journey would take him. Now, the Asker-based company has been showcased on the main stage at Autodesk University in Nashville – the world's largest conference for the construction and infrastructure industries.

A Norwegian AI Success Story
Infraspace develops digital tools that use artificial intelligence to plan new roads, railways, and other major infrastructure projects. The platform can analyze thousands of route alternatives in just minutes, helping engineers identify the most environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions.

Today, the team consists of six people, and the company is gaining traction among major industry players such as Norconsult, Asplan Viak, and Multiconsult.

These six make up today's Infraspace team: Jørgen Breiland Harsem, Andreas Juvkam Eraker, Silje Knutsvik Kalleberg, Terje Karlsen, Andreas Bjune Kjølseth, and Gunnar Vartdal.
International Recognition
During his keynote in Nashville, Autodesk Vice President Nicholas Magon highlighted Infraspace as an example of the future of transport infrastructure planning – before smiling and adding: "Pretty cool, eh..!"
